    Reading and interpreting charts, lab results, imaging reports, discharge summaries, and other records in order to catch potential inconsistencies or provide clarity as needed.

  • Addressing misunderstandings, concerns, or disputes between patients and doctors, nurses, hospitals, or other care team members.

  • Spotting areas where additional support, specialist referrals, improved coordination, or improved-quality of care may be needed—and taking action to address them.

  • Helping complete insurance claims, prior authorizations, disability paperwork, advanced directives, appeals, and other administrative documents.

  • Ensuring informed consent, privacy, access to records, fair treatment, and compliance with healthcare laws and ethical standards are maintained for your benefit.

  • Identifying assistance programs, grants, insurance options, and legal support to ease the burden of healthcare costs and related concerns.

  • Locating peer support groups, community services, counseling, and other networks to provide emotional and practical encouragement.
